I still remember when my daughter, now 17, became a Girl Scout in the 2nd grade. I always thought she would participate until maybe 8th grade. Thinking she would become to busy with other things and maybe it wouldn't "be cool" to be a GS in high school. Well I am proud to say that she continued through until her Senior Year and is graduating as a Girl Scout Ambassador tonight. What an accomplishment and an honor. She is so very lucky to leave with so many learned life skills, friendships and charitable accomplishments...these will last a lifetime. Andme I wish I kept count of how many Thin Mint Cookies and Tag-a- longs I consumed throughout her Girl Scout Journey. On second thought, maybe I don't want to know!!
